With no destination or prodding machines
Lush greenery caves in around me
Watched my reflection watching the sky
Looking for untouched eyes
Seeing past dreams trod
A passing bird seems to smile and nod
Waking to the ending chase
The most peaceful place
Where the prey greets predator
And they find new space
The pack won't always walk this way
but immediate reaction leaves no words to say
All this, I think, as I pack, and depart.
